The unstoppable momentum of contemporary art is largely brought about the artists’ exploration of the relation between the visual property and cultural property of art. In recent years, Chen Zhiguang uses ants as a prototype, and enables them to incarnate various roles in human society. In doing so, he endows them with in-depth cultural connotation. The artist thinks carefully about how to integrate individual ants into the environment as soon as he starts to create the first ant. He brings ants into an urban area with the methodology of installation art. By creating a visual and conceptual Ubiquity, he does not only show the audience the world in his eyes, but he also explains the world that all of us experience.
